The Nita M. Lowery 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) Program offers academic, physical, artistic and cultural enrichment opportunities to students and their families during after school hours and summer hours. These opportunities aim to meet state and local students’ performance standards in core subjects such as Reading, Math, and Science.
In addition, the 21st CCLC program provides a safe environment where our team of PM Wells educators act as program tutors to engage in homework assistance, youth development activities, behavior intervention program, technology education program, art, recreation programs, character education, and college & career readiness to enhance the academic components of the program.
- Our programs are offered at no cost to the participating school or families.
- An array of educational and enrichment activities are offered.
- A nutritious snack is provided daily during our after school program. A nutritious breakfast and lunch is provided to students daily during the summer program.
We are accepting applications for our 21st CCLC After School Program. The program runs from August 26th continuing through May 26th, operating for 173 days, at five days per week. The program takes place during the calendar school days: Monday through Friday from 4:05 PM – 6:05 PM. Our program curriculum offers a variety of academic, social and emotional enrichment activities.
